Bronwyn Archer-Dawson has more than 30 years domestic and international experience in human resources, conference and event management, and sales and marketing. She was appointed to the role of International Affairs Specialist for the US Government’s Department of Agriculture, developing and coordinating regional strategies, and managing international research and programs.
With over 17 years’ experience in the Canberra Construction and Property Industry, Bronwyn has worked for one of Canberra’s leading Project and Construction Management companies in the capacity of Human Resource Manager. Bronwyn also worked as a Senior Consultant and Business Manager with a multinational recruitment company; both roles serviced the Building, Construction and Design disciplines along with Finance and Administration.
As GAP Resource Management’s (GAPRM) founding Director and Business Manager of 18fifty3 GAPRM Recruitment, Bronwyn is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the business. This includes planning, financial and risk management as well as taking an active role leading numerous specialised profile projects. Bronwyn is also responsible for the company’s quality assurance systems and the training and induction of all our staff and contractors.
Bronwyn’s wide experience and depth of knowledge has been pivotal, over the last two years, to the successful partnership with DHS in managing the ICT Pathway Entry Level Program.
As a Director across all businesses, Doug's skills also extend into 18fifty3 GAPRM’s Recruitment, Bulk Recruitment and Campaigns team, drawing on his experience as a HR Manager and Senior Recruitment Practitioner in both the public and private sectors, Doug is highly skilled in the end-to-end management of large recruitment campaigns - particularly those relating to graduate, trainee and specialist recruitment. Doug specialises in finding the ideal candidates for senior project management, ICT, training, and management roles.
GAP Resource Management and Living Recruitment are brands which have survived and created successful opportunities for many people over the past nine years. GAP Resource Management succeeded into New Zealand back in 2012 and moved onto Asia a few years after. Doug has an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management and has held a position on the NSW/ACT RCSA Council for the past 5 years and assisting with the Pearl Mentor Program and the SME Gateway Advisory Board. He believes in staying current, up to date and relevant by way of events, memberships, affiliations and "keeping close to the street".
Doug has an intimate knowledge of Government recruitment at both Federal and State level, having spent 13 years consulting for the NSW Government and working closely with numerous commonwealth departments and agencies. Doug has established extensive networks in the Building, Construction, Security, Cyber, ICT and Technology Industries and this experience has been the bedrock to the quality of candidates provided to DHS during the 2 year ICT Pathway Entry Level Program. Doug also manages our Cyber Logistics company, assisting industry with its Cyber Security needs and requirements, keeping pace with Government and Private sector requirements and cyber safety.
As a Director, Andrew has almost 20 years experience in executive management roles and mentoring in high performance environments. His previous experience working with a national and international sporting organisation offered the opportunity to perform in multiple capacities within his role. During this time, Andrew was responsible for talent identification & recruitment, stakeholder management, interaction with the International Cricket Council with development and management of key personnel. Specialising in programme and logistics management, Andrew performed as the Operations Manager for the 2015 Cricket World Cup which encompassed the role of both media and security liaison (Canberra based).
Andrew has gained a diverse range of experience in dynamic and evolving business environments that enables him to engage with a broad range of clients in both a business and personal capacity, allowing development of strong relationships.
Pivotal in the future direction of the business is Andrew’s skill in identifying and implementing key factors of success within a team. After joining the business in 2016, Andrew now heads the private recruiting arm of the business, offering an expanded network.
Catherine McGregor AM, was a distinguished former Australian Defence Force Officer and has held senior advisory roles with both, The Australian Army and the Royal Australian Air Force including multiple operations overseas. Her strategic advice has been sought by senior leaders in Defence, politics and business over a long period. She is an expert of the formation and execution of public policy and has served on the personal staff of NSW Premier Bob Carr and written speeches for a diverse range of political leaders from Kim Beazley to Barry O’Farrell and Tony Abbott.
With considerable experience in assisting leaders to build diverse cohesive inclusive teams in business and military environments. Catherine is often called upon to deliver keynote addresses to industry association on compelling personal narrative of gender transition and the connection between high performance and personal resilience. As a respected analyst and commentator on Australian politics and strategic affairs Catherine writes editorials for The Australian Newspaper. She is contributor to Sky News and will host her own current affairs programme in 2020.
Catherine has a vast range of skills in the areas of team building, high performance and analysis of workplace culture. She excels at working closely with senior leaders to provide reflective listening and feedback to enhance their own performance in a confidential setting.
She has been voted one of Australia’s most influential women by The Australian Women’s Weekly on three occasions. She holds the Order of Australia for sustained exceptional service to The Australian Army. She was educated at the Royal Military College Duntroon and Oxford University.
David’s career has encompassed the hospitality, marine industry, conference/exhibition and major event sector, manufacturing industry and professional sports. As either the proprietor or senior manager in this variety of industries David’s experience is extensive, well rounded and focused on the staff development and strategic planning necessary to ensure the success of any enterprise.
Experience in these many disciplines has exposed David to a varied range of proven operational and strategic solutions as well as allowing insight to managing businesses and with an extended focus into the people who work in them. His goal for the future is to share his knowledge, drive and enthusiasm with business owners who want to achieve the most out of their business by engaging with the optimal employees who will assist them to realise their businesses peak performance along with their own personal goals and aspirations.
Casey is a proud Indigenous woman of the Tharawal Nation, whose country takes in South-Western Sydney.
Casey has played an integral part of the scribing and bulk recruitment environment at GAP Resource Management. Her involvement with contract and client management of large scribing jobs, business development and tender submissions and coordinated campaigns across multiple levels and job specialisations, and in large national campaigns such as graduate recruitment.
Casey is currently completing a Bachelor of Business to gain further understanding of how to move her skills and knowledge to the next level. Casey has a positive attitude that permits her to proactively take on new challenges, which gives her the edge to efficiently perform her tasks and thrives on meeting set KPIs, deadlines and targets for our clients.
As GAP Resource Management’s Recruitment and Relationship Manager, Casey is constantly looking for creative and innovative solutions for our clients. Casey is the teams eRecruit Specialist and has led the delivery of several successful Graduate Recruitment Programs for several Government Departments including most recently the Department of Defence.
Performing a pivotal role within all private sector end-to-end recruitment, Grace brings a logical and intuitive approach to service delivery providing for a relatable platform which is well-received by clients.
Prior to finding her professional home in recruitment, Grace spent seven years within the General Insurance industry as a Broker. Drawing from her insurance expertise and knowledge, Grace oversees contractor welfare, payroll issues and manages any return to work related matters. With an empathetic approach to guidance and advice, Grace has helped many clients through difficult circumstances, drawing on her thorough understanding of the Workplace, Health and Safety environment and case management skills. Grace also brings with her valuable knowledge within the design and media space, through her time as a freelance Graphic Designer.
Raisa brings over 12 years’ experience in the quality assurance field to GAP Resource Management and Living recruitment. Holding a master’s degree in food technology as well as multiple bachelor’s degrees. Raisa has proven to be a value asset to the Recruitment team and adds a wealth of knowledge to our team with systems and process refinement.
Originally from Russia and gaining her experience in the Middle East’s highly competitive and dynamic market, Raisa provides a different perspective that helps to ensure our company is progressive and continuing to develop and improve.
Raisa in her career to date has developed, implemented, and managed multiple quality assurance and management systems for companies such as Jumeirah Hotels Group and Emaar, Dubai’s largest building and development company as well as worked closely with multiple government departments, negotiating changes to legislation and changes to government practices.
Raisa’s role as Administration and Quality Assurance Manager will be, in addition to assisting us with recruitment services in the QA field, developing our operating systems to ensure that we move into the future with up to date and market leading services.
